Membership Club Privileges

  • Access to all club grounds and amenities year round.
  • Monthly planned theme parties and events.
  • Attend membership meetings and initiations are the 4th Monday of every month.
  • Volunteer and give back to the many charities we support.
  • Bring your friends and family as your guests.
  • Discounted rates on hall rentals.

  • Monthly, Saturday night Trivia in the fall and spring months.

Application, Indoctrination and Initiation process

The Order is a non-political, non-sectarian, and strictly American fraternity.  Proposal for membership in the Order is only by invitation of a member in good standing.  To be accepted as a member, one must be an American citizen, believe in God, be of good moral character, and be at least 21 years old. 


  • Fill out and submit your application at the lodge.


  • Your application will be read reviewed by the Investigating Committee. Once reviewed, the committee will call and set up a time for you and your sponsor to meet for an interview.


  • After the interview is concluded, the committee will report to the Lodge at the next meeting concerning your membership and a vote will take place.


  • Upon conclusion of the vote, you will be notified and asked to present yourself and your spouse for indoctrination. During indoctrination, you will learn more about the order’s programs and charities. At this time you will also be provided your date of initiation.


  • After initiation as an Elk, you are able to enjoy our member privileges Lodge.  


(If for any reason your application is rejected, you cannot re-apply for membership for six months from the date of rejection.)

Member guidelines

Please keep in mind that use of the Lodge is a privilege afforded to Lodge members and their accompanied guests only.


All lodge members must have their membership card with them all the time, it is your proof of membership.


Your guests are always welcome, but please remember that you must accompany them when entering the Lodge and they must sign-in as your guest in the Lodge/bar area. There are no exceptions. If you have any questions, please contact a Lodge officer.

Cory will be joining the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks with his wife and 2 sons.  He has been residing in Westminster since 2016 and was born and raised in Ellicott City.  He currently works for BGE.
